here is an effective remedy

Put a small bit of toothpaste on the pimples. This will help to reduce any swelling from the pimples and dry out the oil in them. Make sure to use an actual toothpaste and not a gel.

dont really know

Do creams (such as the new Jergens natural body tanner) or other body bronzing sprays cause skin cancer?

no.

staying out in the sun too long brings you bad skin that will lead up to skin cancer. if you have light skin or are too white/pale skinned, stay out of the sun..it will eat you alive.

for some white/pale skinned people, you will age faster than others.

no they do not.Do creams (such as the new Jergens natural body tanner) or other body bronzing sprays cause skin cancer?
No they don't. When you tan using a tanning bed or by sunbathing, you run the risk of skin cancer. But the sunless tanning creams will tan you without the risk.

Hi im 22 yrs old.i have under eye circles..actually i use so many creams, and natural things also.but no use.?

    I'm sure you'll find a solution here -

    Remedies For Dark Circles

    * An instant dark circles remedy is to use the correct concealer. The shade should be lighter than your foundation. If circles are very dark, choose 2 shades lighter. Great choices can be Revlon New Complexion Concealer, Estee Lauder Smoothing Skin Concealer, Cover Girl Smoothers Concealer, or Neutrogena Smoothing Skin Stick.

    * Apply a good Vitamin K cream. Vita-K Solution gel or Peter Thomas Roth Power K Eye Rescue help strengthen capillary walls around the dark circles to make them less visible.

    * One should go for laser treatment only if the case is chronic. Lasers can increase production of collagen thereby thickening skin to make dark circles less visible.

    * Home remedies for dark circles can include the following:

    1. Drink plenty of water to combat dehydration.

    2. Wear at least SPF 30 sunscreen to prevent more sun damage.

    3. Get enough sleep.

    4. Leave cold teabags, cucumber or potato slices, or washcloths with ice cubes on eyes for 15 minutes regularly.

    5. Take iron supplements if anemic, but consult your doctor first.

    6. Identify the allergens and avoid them. Whether it be pollen, food, whatever, avoidance is the best solution to this. And avoid rubbing your eyes.

    * Hylexin is the first dark circles eye cream developed for serious dark circles. Featured in several magazines such as Marie Claire, FashionWeekDaily, The Wall Street Journal , Star and Luck.

    * One of the greatest remedies for dark circles is Arbonne's NutriMinC® RE9 Repair. It’s a corrective puffiness and dark circles eye cream that does additional benefits – firming, moisturizing and repairing the delicate tissue around the eye.Hi im 22 yrs old.i have under eye circles..actually i use so many creams, and natural things also.but no use.?
If I could see your skin I could figure out exactly what you need. However, since I'm not there with you, then let me help you figure it out for yourself... Learn about your skin and do some research, and see what chemicals react well with the skin, and then try it out on a small portion of your skin to see how your skin reacts to it, and when you come across something that works, be consistent and persistent. Keep your attention to it, and if it works as well as you think, then I am thinking with my better knowledge that it will go away! If all else fails you can see a dermatologist and see what they think it right for you. Good luck!Hi im 22 yrs old.i have under eye circles..actually i use so many creams, and natural things also.but no use.?
I think under eye circles are cute. I have blue eyes and have a bit of under eye circles and I think it makes my eyes look bigger. Just get more sleep too if they are not natural but if that's just who you are then just don't worry abou it. post a picture so we can see and tell you with more detail :-)
    I have your answer...

well, it should help at least. Next time your'e in the bath, cover your eyes with teabags (drenched in hot bath-water, i use PGtips lol!). The heat should plump up the ridges aswell as soothe the eyes in general leaving the skin a much more even texture

Also makes you smell real nice!
how much time each day do you spend infront of a tv/computer screen?

When I used to work a lot with digital design i started to get circles under my eyes, I fixed it by spending less time infront of the computer, doing as much as I could by hand.
    I had the same problem...

creams and all they do not help much....i tried everything...but once i noticed that i had slept for a whole 12 hours with complete sleep...my dark circles reduced visibly.

have a good sleep for once...and try to maintain routine...also drink more water...it makes your skin look clear...also periodically wash face with ice cold water...this will close all open pores....i think this will help much!!
Try Dermablend. It is designed to cover birthmarks. I'm not sure where to buy it, but I'm sure you'll find a source through a search. Clinique ';Continuous Coverage'; makeup in the TUBE (not the other forms) also works quite well and is used as a stage makeup.
i Have These Too, i Drink More Than Enough Water, and Get More Than Enough Sleep!! (i'm Sick of People Suggesting This :/ )

i've Been Using The Garnier Caffeine Eye Roll on, it Helps ALOT.

You Can Buy it From Superdrug for £5 Now :)
Gentle tender compression of the eye area with a soft warm wet flannel aids circulation and blood supply to the area.

Gentle massage should also help ..
Use a hemorrhoid ointment like Preparation H.

You should also get good sleep =)
    YSL touche eclat is brilliant.
i know you're a guy but find a make up foundation that matches your skin colour and use that.
drink lts of water and rub haemeroid cream on the circles.
just have sufficient sleep and lead a healthy lifestyle..
    Hemorrhoid cream does work.....
try drinking lots of water, getting at least 9 hourse of sleep.

For the face, is it ok to use creams and soaps that contain olive oil or other natural oil.....?

or is it better to stay away from all face products that contain oilFor the face, is it ok to use creams and soaps that contain olive oil or other natural oil.....?
If your skin is dry it's fine but if you suffer from oily skin it is best to steer clear of products and makeup with oils in them. LUSH have a great selection of olive oil productsFor the face, is it ok to use creams and soaps that contain olive oil or other natural oil.....?
    its ok
That all depends on your skin type. It's fine to use products containing oil if you have pretty dry skin. But, if you already have oily or blemish-prone skin, it's best to stay away from any face product containing oil, because that will add more oil, and cause more blemishes. Oil-free products are best to use in that case.
ya its great for your body all over! I use oilve oil daily all over, and if its cream based there isn't going to be too much oil so you'll be fine using it on your face

liquid foundation is bad for your skin it ages you, gives you acne, clogs your pores...just not good.

I never wear foundation and never did...I wash my face everyday and do a weekly pore cleanser. and because of it I have perfect skin and don't have to wear foundation...

a natural look is a better look...guys like it better anyways.
makeup actually protects your skin...a good quality liquid foundation protects your skin from the polluted air. it acts as a shield.

As far as the other stuff you use, it will not harm your skin at all. Its good to take care, maintain and protect your skin.
sounds ok. i was my face with jergens soap.....it keeps zits away for me, and I wear makeup...probaby better to not wear makeup and let the skin breath

PLEASE HELP ME!!!!Does any one have an idea on how to straighten ur hair with a iron or gels or creams just natural?
straightening ironDoes any one have an idea on how to straighten ur hair with a iron or gels or creams just natural?
A straightening iron (flat iron)if you want something more permanent Walmart sells Ogilvie stratghtener for about $10 or go to a salon, it costs $150
use a flat iron and get a flat iron spritz to make it really smooth
Go get yourself a flat iron and some leave-in conditioner for the damage it will cause... No sh*t!
I have naturally wavy hair (well, wavy on one side and curly on the other). I use Garnier (bright green bottles) smoothing milk (2 pumps). Work it through. THEN, I put on some volumizing moose (straigtens easier for me) and dry it with one of those drying brush thingies (know what I mean). THEN.. I either leave it volumed up or straighten it with my flat iron (Treseme hot iron spritz on the tough areas). My hair is now short, cropped at the back and longer in the front. This is the only way my wavy/curly hair goes board straight. ;)
    aww

i wish i were there i straghten my hair all the time

    aww

dont straighten it with a clothing iron it will damge it realy badly and most likely ull get burnt anyways just leave it natural ur avatars very pretty and im sure u r 2
Are you using electrical irons or like the shop?

Whats the best natural possible way to get rid of spots on your face if not any creams..?

    Drink water!

It is amazing, it won't work for a few days but you gradually notice.

Eat healthy and they will go.

Wash your face twice a day and remove make-up before you go to bed.

In the meanwhile, a good foundation and concealer helps hide them.

Don't worry, many people have them so don't worry about them too much!Whats the best natural possible way to get rid of spots on your face if not any creams..?
salt salt salt hahah dissolve some salt in warm water and wash your face with it every day leave it on for a few minns it does sting a little but that shows its working also i use this stuff radox daily elements restorative bath soak .. i used it on my face once and along with the salt my spots cleared up really quick i was amaed as id been suffering with them for ages!!

forget spot creams i tried them all they dont work!Whats the best natural possible way to get rid of spots on your face if not any creams..?
You have to drink a lot more water (compared to what you may be drinking). Intake Vitamin E and Aloe Vera.

Also put a soaking hot towel on your face twice a day (don't scrub!).

Make sure it's a continual regime. Also change your pillow cases daily. Basically keep the skin as fresh as possible.
Ahah - to the person a few answers above; Dude, if you got salt in your eyes it wouldn't be the best day..

Drinking lots of water, Eating healthy, not touching your face much, Exercising and drinking stuff like green tea to flush out toxins, etc. should work but you'll need to be patient.

If you prefer over-the-counter treatments, then use facial washes or masks to clear skin.
I've heard that green tea is really good for blotchy or red skin, and lemon juice gets rid of spots. i've never actually tried it, but I read about it on another website..wish I could remember which one! You should type in

';natural skin remedies'; and see what you get. Good luck!
Most people dont belive this but , if you use loads of soap ( mornings and afternoon ) and rinse it about 6 times then youll have perfect skin after a couple of days.
ive got t- zone pads and they r great they got rid off my spot in just 1 day with 1 pad used so i would defo reccomend them to you x
just wait but it takes quite a long time

What are some natural and healthy ways to keep acne under control, that DON'T involve pills or creams?

I just stopped a benzoyl peroxide regimen that I've concluded was damaging my skin (and I think has permanently darkened it ): ). So right now I have active pimples, and very oily, inflamed, irritated, red skin. I'm looking for some very natural acne solutions that are actually good and soothing for the skin. This could include special ways of steaming, or home facials, or anything at all... as I'm clueless about those things, and would love to try!

(No medication recommendations of any kind, please.)

Thanks everyone! What are some natural and healthy ways to keep acne under control, that DON'T involve pills or creams?
It is not at all surprising that the Benzoyl Peroxide regimen was damaging your skin. Benzoyl Peroxide is a harmful chemical in many ways. Here's a link to the Environmental Working Group's Skin Deep website which will give you some shocking details on it: http://www.ewg.org/reports/skindeep2/rep鈥?/a>

I, too, have oily, acne-prone skin so I know what it's like. I recently became aware of all the toxic synthetic chemicals our government allows manufacturers to put into their products. It is appalling.

Your best bet would be to use 100% ALL NATURAL, CHEMICAL-FREE skin care products. Keep in mind that just because the product may say ';natural'; or ';organic'; DOES NOT mean that it is! There are no regulations on personal care products by the FDA regarding the use of those terms, so many companies use those terms to deceive potential consumers, making them believe that because it says ';natural'; or ';organic';, it is. Many companies use a drop or two of an essential oil, followed by a long list of synthetic chemicals in their products, claiming their product is ';natural.'; Beware of that. The best thing you can do is READ INGREDIENT LABELS and educate yourself on the thousands of synthetic chemicals, how and why they are toxic, and to stay as far away as possible from any personal care product that contains them.

Acne sufferers are probably one of the biggest targets for deceptive companies. They say,';This product will clear up your skin'; or ';Our products contain soothing bontanicals that will cure your acne.'; But the truth is, they use toxic, inexpensive (for them to make) chemicals and sell it to the public for several times what it cost to make the product.

We acne sufferers shouldn't be putting harmful chemicals on our already inflamed, irritated skin. 100% pure, chemical-free products derived from nature are the best for ANY kind of skin, but especially acne-prone.

It is hard to find those truly 100% all natural, chemical-free products. Even in organic or natural stores they have product after product on their shelves that contain harmful ingredients. Even Whole Foods Market's private label personal care products (';Whole Body';) contain harmful chemicals such as Sodium Lauryl Sulfate, which when tested on defenseless animals, they experienced eye damage, along with depression, labored breathing, diarrhea, severe skin irritation and corrosion and death.

Here are some companies and their websites that I HIGHLY recommend for personal care products. All of the following companies use only 100% natural, chemical-free ingredients in their products, not to mention that none of them test on animals and they all have signed the Compact for Safe Cosmetics ( http://www.safecosmetics.org/index.cfm ).

    -Suki ( http://www.sukisnaturals.com/ )

Suki has a facial care line especially for acne-prone skin which are: Exfoliating Lemongrass Cleanser with Chamomile %26amp; Vitamin C, Facial Toner with White Willow, Aloe, Chamomile %26amp; Tea Tree, Transformative Facial Clay with Green Tea, Roses %26amp; White Willow and Facial Moisture Serum with Blue Chamomile %26amp; Echinacea.

    -Aubrey Organics ( http://www.aubreyorganics.com/ )

Aubrey Organics has a facial care line especially for oily skin which are: Natural Herbal Facial Cleanser, Natural Herbal Facial Astringent and Natural Herbal Oil Balancing Mask.

    -Terressentials ( http://www.terressentials.com/ )

Terressentials doesn't have an anti-acne specific facial line but they do have a facial care line for ';all skin types';, organic body care, hair care, bath care and baby care. They also have a VERY informative website and probably have the purest products that exist. Terressentials is all about the pureness of their products and actually care about their customers and the overall well-being of people in general because they use no chemicals or synthetics in any of their products. Great company, in my opinion.

I know that 100% pure Tea Tree oil is great for healing and soothing acne. You can get this at any health or organic store.

I should mention I've been using the Aubrey Organics Natural Herbal line for oily skin for the last few weeks and in my opinion, it is just ';so-so.'; I applaud the company for being truly natural but for me, the skin care line doesn't do anything for my acne or the oilyness of my face. I plan to try the Suki Line mentioned above because it is geared specifically for healing and soothing acne-prone skin.

Anywho...good luck! :-)What are some natural and healthy ways to keep acne under control, that DON'T involve pills or creams?
Crush 5-10 tablets of Aspirin with distilled water (in other words, FILTERED WATER ex. from a water bottle) and smooth on face and leave for about 10 minutes, wash off face.

Look on google for proper recipe (Aspirin Mask). Though, salicylic acid is not needed. =)
Try applying a little toothpaste to the blemishes. Let dry and wipe off with a warm washcloth.
i made my own solution. it works pretty well for me.

it is a combination of baby shampoo (johnson %26amp; johnson), baking soda, and salt (sea, table, or epsom ((or a combination)). use the baby shampoo and baking soda in equal parts. the salt depends of your skin. i use about an equal amount of it as well. if it's too drying, use less.

baby shampoo is used an a cleanser

baking soda is a gentle exfoliant

    salt helps dry out pimples

be sure to use a face lotion if you feel you need one. if you dry your face too much, then it will overcompensate with an abundance of oil.

    good luck.

    ::edit::

i don't suggest using it everyday twice a day. this is more of an every other day kind of thing. try using it this often and increase use if your skin can handle it. my skin is a little sensitive after using acne treatments with benzoyl peroxide and salicilic acid for 2 years. try using clean and clear daily pore cleanser in the mean time.
    avoid eating oily food.
Ok I know it will sound crazy but boil some water with vicks vapor rub in it let the steam hit your face it helps unclog pores. Also you can try mint also. I use a apricot scrub from st Ives. you can buy it at target its very gentle.
Try washing your face twice a day with tea tree oil, keep it mega-clean, and hands off!! Eat loads of veggies everyday, try to eat more veg than fruit, because of the higher sugar levels. Sunshine and fresh air help some people too.
ok. Spend as much time on fresh air as you can and drink lots of water, eat healthy, basically live a healthy lifestyle
I use aloe vera gel which is a natural antibacterial. I use it as a toner after washing my face and it really helps kill all the acne bacteria and keeps my skin clear. Hope that helps!

There is no scientific evidence that links food to acne, like chocolate or dairy. Acne is bacteria so if you keep dirty hands off face and keep your make up sanitary by disinfecting then that should help as well.
Several years ago on the Sally Jessie Raphael show, I saw a special about home remedies. The one for acne was so bizarre, I'll never forget it. They suggested that you place a washcloth in a bowl and soak it with your first morning urine, then apply the urine to the face. Seemed gross to me, but the proponent swore by it!

My mom said you should try apple cider vinegar to use as a toner after washing. It's a natural germ killer.

I think it comes with age. When I was in highschool, my acne was pretty bad. Once I graduated my acne has not been seen once, maybe couple times a year if that.

I just found that those acne things don't really work.
Eat fewer cheeseburgers, french fries, potato chips with dip. Eat less chocolate.
just constantly wash your face with mild soap nothing that has like alcohol and stuff like that and after always moisturize with lotions that don't have oils and stuff.
i have very oily skin to. I wash my face reguraly to get some of the dirt and oil away. I also recommend a lofa it takes all the dead skin and oil away dont rub to hard and use a soap thats non scented its better.
Aveeno positively radiant daliy cleansing pads are the best.there all natural .but if u dont want that then just try to eat healty.

I had to end up going to the dermatologist for my acne problems. They gave me a cream to put on my face that has clidamycin and benzol peroixide in it. Can't remember the exact name of it, but nothing else worked on my face.

  • What is the best natural way to strengthen nails: using creams with keratin, drinking gelatin, calcium pills?

My wife has paper thin nails... always has. To take care of this she gets her nails done about once a month [acrylic ones - french tips - etc.]. This and with supplements [calcium, iron, multi] she now has some decent nails. She still gets the ';fake'; ones put on tho, because they don't ';tear'; and cause pain. She just learned to live with 'em....What is the best natural way to strengthen nails: using creams with keratin, drinking gelatin, calcium pills?
Massage a little Vitamin E oil into them every night. Simple but effective. What is the best natural way to strengthen nails: using creams with keratin, drinking gelatin, calcium pills?
    All of the above.
    Vitamin E ^_^

also, i ordered a product called Strong Results from Avon and it did wonders for my nails...
Keratin won't be readily completely absorbed through your nail. They're similar to skin cells but don't have exactly the same membranous quality.Gelatin is helpful because it can be converted into collagen and keratin.

Honestly eating things like chicken skin on occasion in addition to gelatin is far more helpful. There's much more collagen in skin.

Supplementation of calcium won't be that helpful but Biotin and B complex will help both hair and nails.I know I'm a guy but I know alot about nutrition.
    Calcium
I just asked this question and someone said BIOTIN. I've heard it works as well. Honestly applying stuff or soaking your nails in anything really doesnt help. You have to go down to the root of the problem -- the body and nourish it.

you can buy it at drugstore.com

    here is the link

I'd say calcium pills because that's what our nails are made up. Like when you get those white lines on your finger nails which means that you don't have that much calcium or that you need more calcium.

Please use full words, it's hard to tell what it is you are asking.I don wear foundation os smr make up but i use gud creams n most natural thngz will it harm my skin in future?
liquid foundation is bad for your skin it ages you, gives you acne, clogs your pores...just not good.

This is the only way my wavy/curly hair goes board straight. ;)
