Non-scented and natural shaving creams?
i have excema...And this morning i used a shaving cream i cant remember witch one but later on today my legs started iching..and i think its cause the shaving cream so im looking for a all-natural and MAYBE non-scented if theres such a thing haha.TYNon-scented and natural shaving creams?

My boyfriend uses a cream he gets from Boots. he has used everything else also. Can't remember the full name of it but it has ';aqueous'; in the title within the sensitive skin section. Many people swear by it.

Baby oil worked fine for me. I just put it on my son before bed, stuck a hat on him, combed it out the next morning, and washed his head.
Doing that every few days for a week or so cleared it right up.
Go buy yourself a soft bristle toothbrush. When you give you baby a bath, put the shampoo on the toothbrush and gently scrub the areas. It should get rid of it in a couple of treatments.

If you are into not buying creams and just using vits from the vitamin aisle, you may not get as good of penetration and dosage as with a professional product developed for that purpose. If that's still what you want, make sure the C you use is VC-IP - Ascorbyl Tetrapalmitate ore Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, these are oil soluble and more absorbable to your skin than the water soluble ascorbic acid.
Lemon juice will have a safe bleaching effect. It will also act as an exfoliant so make sure you are always wearing enough sunscreen. Even if you don't use lemon. You must wear a minimum of SPF 15 every day and if you work or play outside, you must reapply every 2 hours. Being on the water or snow is even worse.
Yogurt can also help, the lactic acid in it has a lightening effect and also moisturises. And exfoliates.

My wife has paper thin nails... always has. To take care of this she gets her nails done about once a month [acrylic ones - french tips - etc.]. This and with supplements [calcium, iron, multi] she now has some decent nails. She still gets the ';fake'; ones put on tho, because they don't ';tear'; and cause pain. Honestly eating things like chicken skin on occasion in addition to gelatin is far more helpful.There's much more collagen in skin.
Supplementation of calcium won't be that helpful but Biotin and B complex will help both hair and nails.I know I'm a guy but I know alot about nutrition.

Started taking this cycle for the first time for my pms symptoms. I stopped taking it 6 days ago was due for my period Friday never got it I keep getting cramps and then they go away and comeback but still no period.

It can take an additional few days for AF to arrive, but you should at least feel like it's on the way by now if you stopped 6 days ago. However, if you were using the cream before you confirmed ovulation, you might have messed up your cycle a little bit. Progesterone should ONLY be used in the luteal phase unless prescribed otherwise. That would also delay your period considerably.Does anyone know if Natural Progesterone creams stop you from getting your period
Use the progesterone cream as you would a BCP, 20 days on and 8 days off or thereabouts. It shouldn't affect your periods but if it does, use it very sparingingly. When women are pregnant,they have high levels of progesterone and it makes them feel sleepy and tired. Also women in menopause use it as their levels are generally very low and has many health benefits for them.
It may help to lengthen your luteal phase a tad, but I don't think it can stop it for 5 days as it's not full strength.

To be honest i think the best you can do is invest in a good mascara. I'd reccomend Benefit Bad Gal Lash mascara which has a reallly thick brush and works really well.

Should I cream/relax my natural hair...?
I am 18yrs old and I have never creamed my hair. For starters, I'm not really interested in hearin black is beauty or relaxin one's hair is a slave mentality... i like my hair tho its short and not straight...but im tired of sittin for 3-6hrs in a hairdressers seat to braid my hair, which only lasts about 3 mnths...then havin to spend the same amount of time to take it out..losin alot of hair in the process...so i'm keepin it ';out'; for now...but its hard to manage n i really dnt have the time to spend combin it...so besides lockin/twistin it what other low maintenance styles are there...or what are the best products to use to relax your hair?Should I cream/relax my natural hair...?
Look into a product called Natural Laxer specifically marketed by the Treasured Locks company online its all natural and helps soften/loosen the curl pattern of the hair slightly with out any caustic chemicals, they even have the ingredient list posted in plain sight. I used it before i got my locks and it softened my 3C hair to about a 3A, the results are semi permanent and it is impossible to damage your hair with this product. Their is also a home made recipe floating around online which contains coconut milk/cream found in the ethnic cooking isle at the grocery store mixed with coconut oil and lime juice it to is supposed to soften the texture of the hair while still conditioning it with out harsh cems...
Also all of the Afrocentric hair issues aside hydroxide compounds and ammonium thioglocolate (sp) compounds can be found in Drano and Nair, seriously check the ingredient listing either online or on the packages at the store. But if you just HAVE to relax your hair with the harsh stuff id go with a thio based relaxer/straightener like One and Only Curl Remover check out the reviews on Folicia.com online beauty supply because the pH level is around 9-9.5 much lower and consequently less harsh than a traditional ';Black'; relaxer with a sodium or calcium hydroxide compound of around 11-14 (neutral pH of hair is around is 7). The only reason most black women have bad luck with Thio relaxers is because they don't have virgin hair and have a hydroxide based relaxer already in their hair and the two different compounds don't mix resulting in a chemical hair cut.
Also a simple afro braid out (the bigger the braids the wider the curl/wave pattern), or sister locks extremely small (spaghetti noodle) locks that look more like ';regular'; loose hair but if you chose that don't pay for overpriced name brand sister-locks look into the Nappy-locks tool online they make a micro sized locking tool.

I have never been so hooked on ice cream in my life. I just bought a 1.75 quarts package yesterday and it is already gone. I've used the Oil of Olay Brands for years now. From the body wash, to the face moisturizer and I love the out come!! I am 47 years old and One, get carded, which is embarassing to me, but when I tell them I have two sons, one 30 year old and a 26 year old, I'm told I don't look old enough to have children that age and still have to produce my I.D. So God has Blessed me in many ways! Also drinking plenty of water helps the skin especially during the winter months which can be hazardous to us ladies. This may sound stupid, but if my skin gets real dry, I use regular vasoline on my face, a warm rag and let it soften my skin. It is the most soothing feeling ever, just as you would use a chap stick on your lips, so does your skin need the same. If you have oily skin, St. Ives has a wonderful Cucumber Face Peel, but make sure you use lotion on your face BEFORE you use it, to prevent excessive drying and lotion afterwards with a good skin lotion as Olay. It really works and is worth the cost for beautiful skin!

I am wondering if anyone has experience with using natural progesterone cream to lengthen their Luteal Phase?
I have a 9 day luteal phase and would like to get pregnant so I started using a natural progesterone cream the 2nd week of my cycle. It made my temps increase so now I am wondering if I am going to ovulate at all this month since I don't believe that I have yet. I am wondering if I should have started after I ovulated and now am unsure of what to do - should I stop using it or keep it up until the end of this cycle? Does anyone have any advice as to what I should do or any other solutions to lengthen my short luteal phase to conceive? I appreciate any help out there.

From what I've read, if one is TTC the progesterone cream (natural or synthetic) is most effective AFTER ovulation. Read this blurb:
';If a woman has had four or five miscarriages in the first six or eight weeks of a pregnancy, this is always due to luteal phase failure, says Dr. John Lee. Progesterone is needed to facilitate implantation and to prevent rejection of the developing embryo, but the follicle may not respond to the ovum with enough. Dr. Lee's recommendation: ';Wait till you ovulate, and then four to six days after possible conception do a blood test (for HCG) to see if you're pregnant. If you are, start the progesterone; that way you will increase you chance of having a healthy baby.'; Blood tests for pregnancy tend to be positive within seventy-two hours of conception, whereas he says urine pregnancy tests are not usually positive until two weeks after conception.';

I took my 3rd round of Clomid, first 2 were 50mg, this one was 100mg. Since I ovulated on CD18, with a 30 day cycle, I decided to try to lengthen my cycle with natural progesterone cream, I told my dr and he said he recommends the suppositories but I was uncomfortable with that so he said the NPC should be fine.

The only natural way to lighten scars is a pure cocoa butter stick. Get it at the drug store. Best to use it on cuts/incisions that have healed but haven't formed a ';scar'; yet. If you use it several times a day your scars will be MUCH better.

I know natural progesterone cream is beneficial to opposing estrogen in mammals during pregnancy. I also know it's good in preventing all kinds of cancer. I have looked online but I keep finding websites selling it, and can't find any definitive or medically supported lists of side effects. If anyone has links that would help.
I take it days 14-26. I have read some mishmoshy info about side effects and it seems I have some - I am really sleepy and I noticed my vision is a little blurred when I try to read far away signs, etc. and it wasn't before. Best Natural Night Cream?
I'm on a student budget so please no suggestions that are very expensive! But I was looking for people with experience with natural creams and lotions that help not only with repairing sun-damage but also help to moisturize? I'm a redhead with freckles, so I have obvious sun-damage and I also have skin that seems dull and dry no matter how much I exfoliate. Are you referring to a diamond head microdermabrasion? If so, that is a very intense form of exfoliation. Though it requires no down time at all, the skin is still extremely sensitive afterward for a few days. If your toner contains alcohol, that could very well be irritating to the face after such a treatment as a microdermabrasion. Bleaching creams usually contain some type of Kojak or Glycolic Acid, and/or Hydroquinone. These are the most common forms of lightening agents, and also could cause redness and irritation.
Next time you undergo an in-house procedure, ask your Esthetician about proper skin care following. From the sound of your issue, you have sensitive skin and need to let it rest after such intense exfoliation.

But know I think whats best is that everyday in the morning and at night you need to make a hot cup of water and bathe a Miniature towel in it and immediately spread the towel against your face. In the process, for at least 3 minutes just leave it there to let your skin take the hot water in. Keep doing that process five times in the morning and at night. If you have done it for 7 days and it hasn't taken ANY effect then go see your doctor.
You should be a little scared, it sounds like you might have mixed two opposing products and that's the reason for your skins reaction. Next time you have a diamond facial (assuming that's what you had) wait a day or two before using any harsh chemicals on your face.

Hello. Serious question here. I am pushing 30, gawd I hate that number...anyways I am pushing 30 and I am starting to break out with acne like a 16 year old kid going threw puberty! I eat a mim amount of oil, I don't eat alot of fatty foods (that magick number likes to add pounds you know) so I am thinking it's stress related. Kids can do that! Can any one tell me of a natural acne cream that works? I have read up on a few different ideas but there is no comment about it working. or even a store bought cream? I have tried a few store bought creams but they really don't do much good and yes, I do wash my face daily so no funny comments about that please! And make sure you get plenty of healthy oils in your diet! If you have too *little* fat in your diet your skin can dry out and get quite temperamental! Drink a lot of water too.
Also, this might seem simple, but if you think your acne is stress-related... treat the stress! If you don't do something to help you feel more calm and centered, the *real* problem isn't being taken care of.

Natural progesterone cream and trying to conceive?
after ttc for 10 years today ive been put on clomid and told i have low progesterone levels they were 2.6!
i have 3 cycles of clomid but i wasnt given anything for the progesterone levels can anyone give me any info on this and should i buy progesterone cream? has this helped anyone else
