What has your experience been with natural progesterone creams?

Does it work? And what brands have you tried? What has your experience been with natural progesterone creams?
If you're buying over the counter you're wasting your money. If you're getting these from a compounding pharmacy, you're experimenting with your body.

The Endocrine Society advises against both of these products and for good reason.

With compounding pharmacies, the dosing isn't held to ANY standard, is very erratic, and is not considered safer than any tested, approved preparation.

Many of the over-the-counter creams are derived from Yam which contain precursors of progesterone. However, your body doesn't have the enzymes to turn these into progesterone. You're just getting cream. Save your money and rub mineral oil on your skin.
