Clomid and natural progesterone cream?

This is my first cycle of Clomid and tomorrow I'm going in for my progesterone test. After I ovulate I usually use natural progesterone cream, it helps me with pms. This cycle I didn't take it because I was worried how it would effect my progesterone test. Does anyone take natural progesterone cream and clomid? How does it affect your tests? You probably need to ask your Dr. about this one. I am on Clomid and take progesterone. I take the progesterone from day 16 of my cycle until my next period, or until the end of my first trimester if I get pregnant. Clomid can thin your lining, so I also take estrogen immediately following the Clomid to help thicken my lining and then the progesterone helps to sustain the lining to prevent miscarriage. I chart my basal body temps, so the rise in temps tells me if I ovulate. I don't know exactly why progesterone levels are checked. If your doctor knows you are taking the progesterone while ttc, then he/she probably knows what levels to look for, but it never hurts to double check. I also have hcg injections, so I can't take an hpt because I might get a false positive reading. My OB has me wait until day 32 to take a blood test. He knows what reading is a positive or negative result. The only reason I mention this is because maybe the progesterone tests are similar in that the doctor can factor in any suppliments taken.
