I miss my United Dairy Farmers ice cream from Ohio and none that I've tried down here even come close. So I've decided to make some but can't find a good recipe. Anyone have one? A quart or a gallon doesn't matter.I'm looking for a recipe for natural vanilla bean ice cream?
Well do you have an ice cream maker? If you do, just mix 2 Cups of heavy whipping cream, 1 Cup of whole milk, 3/4 Cup of sugar and 2 whole vanilla beans scraped into a bowl. When mixed well, add to your ice cream maker according to the makers directions and then freeze. I just bought a Cuisinart Ice Cream maker and I have been going ice cream crazy!!!!!! No more store bought ice cream!!
